Day forty-nine

I’ve been asked several times what I’m going to do with my giant puzzle after putting it together. That’s simple.

Take it apart.

I’ll wait while you recover from the shock.

Yes, I know I could glue it and hang it on a wall, but just like I don’t really have enough table space for an 8000 piece puzzle, I don’t really have enough wall space for an 8000 piece poster. I did try to convince my family to put it on the ceiling — “it’ll be just like the Sistine Chapel,” I said — but they thought I was kidding.

It’s just that I’ve never been in the habit of glueing my smaller puzzles. Before this, it always seemed a waste not to be able to do it again and also, my family being of the arts&crafts kind, we like to put our own artwork on the walls.
